Exercise: Apply Theme in AndroidManifest.xml

Android provide some predefine themes in the base package, you can change the theme by adding a code in the file AndroidManifest.xml.

Inside Application tag to take effect on whole Application.

<manifest xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
 package="com.exercise.AndroidTheme"
 android:versionCode="1"
 android:versionName="1.0">
<application android:icon="@drawable/icon" android:label="@string/app_name"
 android:theme="@android:style/Theme.Black"
 >
   <activity android:name=".AndroidThemeActivity"
             android:label="@string/app_name">
       <intent-filter>
           <action android:name="android.intent.action.MAIN" />
           <category android:name="android.intent.category.LAUNCHER" />
       </intent-filter>
   </activity>
</application>
<uses-sdk android:minSdkVersion="2" />
</manifest>

Or,
